Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrates her 50th birthday today.
Former Miss World, and acclaimed actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, widely recognised and loved in the world of cinema, is celebrating her 50th birthday today. Her global recognition has made India proud on many occasions. Aishwarya, along with her husband Abhishek Bachchan, forms one of Bollywood’s most beloved and powerful couples. They are also parents to their adorable daughter, Aaradhya, born in 2011.
On the special day, Aishwarya was spotted attending an event with daughter Aaradhya, at the GSB Seva Mandal in Mumbai. The former Miss World looked beautiful in a white chikankari salwar suit. she kept her long tresses open and opted for a bright red lip colour to give the otherwise simple look a glamourous spin. Aaryadha, too, sported white. She opted for a white shirt, paired with blue denims. Aishwarya was joined by her mother, Vrinda Rai, at the event, who looked resplendent in a yellow salwar suit.
As Aishwarya stepped out of her car and made way to the event, paps wished her on her birthday. She gracious thanked everyone and posed for photographs with her mother and daughter. Check out the video here:
Not long back the Bollywood superstar stole the show as she walked the ramp for L’Oréal Paris during the Paris Fashion Week. Earlier last month, she was trolled for cropping out Agastya Nanda and Shweta Nanda out of a family photo featuring Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday celebration. The edited picture featured only Aaradhya hugging her grandfather.
On the professional front, Aishwarya was last seen in the historical action drama Ponniyin Selvan: II, directed by Mani Ratnam, released in April. Abhishek, on the other hand, was last seen in the sports drama film Ghoomer, directed by R Balki.
