Allu Arjun dedicated five years to Sukumar’s Pushpa films, achieving great success. With fans speculating about his next project, producer Bunny Vas clarified the matter.

Allu Arjun gave five years of his life to Sukumar’s Pushpa films. And it did bear fruit. After achieving stupendous success with Pushpa: The Rise (2021) and Pushpa: The Rule (2024), all eyes are on the actor to announce his next project. Amid this, fans speculated that Arjun has already started working on his next project after they spotted him returning to Hyderabad after a long stay abroad. Producer Bunny Vas has finally broken his silence on this.
Vas was present at a press conference in Hyderabad on Monday, March 3, to discuss the Telugu release of Vicky Kaushal’s superhit film, Chhaava. The film’s distribution rights have been acquired by Allu Arjun’s father, Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts. At the press meet, the media asked Vas about the Surya actor’s recent trip. They also asked whether he has confirmed his next director between Trivikram Srinivas or Atlee.
To this, Bunny Vas replied, “His team will confirm his next film soon. But his recent trip had nothing to do with his upcoming film. He went on a personal trip to train for a month. He constantly tries to stay updated on acting and other things that entail being an actor. He also went to some wellness centre during the trip. Yes, he’s back and I’m yet to meet him.”
The producer also added that Aravind too couldn’t attend the press conference as he is away recuperating at a wellness centre.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun tasted success like never before by playing the titular character in the Pushpa films. Reportedly, the actor was to work Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Venu Sriram, Koratala Siva and Trivikram in their films. Whether the line-up is still on track, is best known by the actor and his team.
Recently, rumours were rife that Allu Arjun is in talks with Atlee for a film. The actor and the filmmaker have not confirmed the development yet.
