As per recent reports, Tripti Dimri might come on board for Prabhas starrer Spirit, which will be helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal has been breaking all records. The film has already become a huge hit at the box office. However, apart from Ranbir, the action drama also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles. Well, among them there is one more person who has been making the headlines and that name is Tripti Dimri. The actress whose popularity has skyrocketed at a breakneck speed after the release of Animal might be sharing screen space with Prabhas.
As per a report by Siasat, since the Tollywood fans are eager to see more of Tripti Dimri’s performance, she might be coming on board for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next Spirit that will be headlined by Prabhas. The project that is rumoured to be made at a whopping Rs 400 crore budget might feature Tripti Dimri as the female lead. While nothing has been confirmed yet, people has their hopes up to watch Prabhas and Tripti Dimri together.
Since the release of Animal, Tripti’s followers on Instagram have massively increased. Before the release, she had 600K followers and now she has 1.2 M followers on Instagram. Fans love her work in the film and she has been trending also.
Well, in Animal she played the role of Zoya which was again loved by fans. This is for the first time she was seen with Ranbir Kapoor. Talking about her experience working with the actor, Pinkvilla quoted her as saying, “It was amazing working with Ranbir Kapoor. The fact that he’s such a warm and welcoming human, apart from being a great actor, speaks a lot about him.” “It feels fantastic to see the amount of love audiences are showering on our chemistry. I hope we collaborate again in the future,” Triptii Dimri further added. However, there are reports also saying that she will be playing the lead role in Animal sequel, Animal Park.
Tripti Dimri made her acting debut in the comedy film Poster Boys which starred Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Shreyas Talpade. But she rose to fame with her first lead role in the romantic drama Laila Majnu released in 2018. Her performance was highly appreciated. She gained recognition for her performances in Anvita Dutt’s period films Bulbbul (2020) and Qala (2022). The former earned her a Filmfare OTT Award and was also featured in Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 list of 2021.
