The three Masti movies were released in 2004, 2013 and 2016 respectively. Masti 4 was announced in February 2024.

Aftab Shivdasani has finally started shooting for his upcoming movie, Masti 4. On Sunday, the actor took to his Instagram handle and shared a series of pictures from the first day of the shoot. In the first photo, Aftab was seen holding a clapboard with ‘Masti 4’ written on it. Another picture featured the actor posing with his co-star, Riteish Deshmukh. Veteran actor Jeetendra was also seen posing with the team in another photo.

Several fans reacted to the post and expressed excitement for the film. “Can’t wait for this! ❤️✨ Who amazed my childhood,” one of the users commented. “Awww!!!❤️❤️ can’t wait to see you again,” added another.
While Vivek Oberoi skipped the launch of Masti 4, he took to his Instagram handle to tease the film. He posted a funny video of Riteish from the sets and wrote, “#Masti4 is now officially a love story ❤️🤣 the bromance begins! 20 years of madness since the first one! Sorry, I couldn’t make it for the launch boys @milapzaveri @riteishd @aftabshivdasani will see you at the shoot super soon! #Masti.”
Masti 4 will be directed by Milap Zaveri whereas it will be produced by Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria of Maruti International with A Jhunjhunwala and SK Ahluwalia of Waveband Productions.
The three Masti movies were released in 2004, 2013 and 2016 respectively. The first Masti film also featured Amrita Rao, Genelia D’Souza and Tara Sharma besides the three male leads. In the second part, we saw Karishma Tanna, Sonalee Kulkarni and Manjari Fadnis taking over as the female leads. On the other hand, Masti 3 starred Mishti, Pooja Bose and Shraddha Dad in key roles.
