Pathirathri will go on floors on June 14.

Ratheena PT’s directorial film Pathirathri’s launch happened without much fanfare at Tribute Royale, Kochi, Kerala on June 10. This film stars actors Soubin Shahir and Navya Nair in the lead roles. Actor Major Ravi gave the first clap for Pathirathri while Navya’s parents Raju and Veena performed the switch-on ceremony. KV Abdul Nazer is producing this film under the Benzy Productions banner, which has bankrolled a couple of Malayalam films to date.
Scriptwriters Shahi Kabeer and Shaji Marad have penned the screenplay of Pathirathri which is based on a true incident. Earlier, Marad had won praise for his critically acclaimed film Ela Veezha Poonchira. This is Navya’s second film with the production company. The first was Oruthee, which is currently available for streaming on Manorama Max. On the technical front, Jakes Bejoy is the composer of the film while Shehnad Jalal has handled the cinematography part. Sreejith Sarang is in charge of Ratheena PT’s film editing.
As the Pathirathri’s tagline One Night Two Cops indicates, Pathirathri is about two police officers going through an intriguing incident together on a single night. In addition to Soubin and Navya Nair, the film features important roles for Sunny Wayne, Shabareesh Varma, and Ann Augustine. According to the reports, Pathirathri’s shooting will commence on June 14 in and around Kumily, Kerala.

Puzhu received positive reviews from the audience with the users particularly lavishing praise on this film’s star cast. This Malayalam film marked Ratheena PT’s directorial debut. In the film, Mammootty and Parvathy play lead roles. This psychological drama is streaming on SonyLIV in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Puzhu was released on the big screens on May 12, 2022. Cyn-Cell Celluloid and Wayfarer Films have produced Puzhu.
Ratheena has also served in other films like Janaki Jaane and Uyare as an Executive Producer.
