Accenture pledges $25 million for Covid-19 aid in India

Accenture has pledged $25 million (Rs 185 crore) in direction of pandemic relief efforts in India, chairperson and senior managing director Rekha Menon mentioned on Tuesday.

“We are providing Covid-19 support kits and PPE kits to frontline healthcare workers and providing food and Covid-19 at-home care kits to unemployed and poor people,” Menon, who can be chairperson of IT trade physique Nasscom, wrote on skilled networking website LinkedIn.

“We are also engaging with the government to support vaccination camps and provide local language call-centre support. Additionally, we will be augmenting existing hospitals with beds and ICUs and setting up portable hospitals,” she mentioned.
