Abhishek Bachchan penned the sweetest birthday wish for his niece Navya Nanda.
Birthdays are all about making your loved ones feel special. As Navya Nanda celebrates her birthday today, she received the sweetest birthday wish from her mamu Abhishek Bachchan. He took a trip down the memory lane and shared an adorable throwback photo of his niece. Calling her ‘little munchkin’, he penned a heartwarming note.
The note read, “This little Munchkin has become a lady. Happy birthday, Navya! ❤️
#MamusFavourite @navyananda.” Navya was quick enough to react to the birthday post. She took to the comments section and wrote, “Love you ❤️.”
Meanwhile, earlier this year Navya Nanda made her runway debut at L’Oréal Paris’ show during the Paris Fashion Week. Talking to India Today, Navya said, “People usually keep talking about my last name and legacy and I love reminding people that everyone has a last name. It is not just my responsibility to live up to mine but everyone has a last name that means something that demands value and respect.”
Navya Naveli Nanda, like her mother Shweta Bachchan has stayed away from the Bollywood dream of becoming an actor. Instead, Navya is an entrepreneur and a podcaster. She often addresses social issues like women’s education through her initiative Project Naveli.
Coming back to Abhishek Bachchan, his last film Ghoomar is receiving significant attention, especially after its successful theatrical run and release on OTT platform. Starring alongside Saiyami Kher, the movie revolves around a female cricketer’s determination to play for the country despite an unforeseen accident.
Meanwhile, the Junior Bachchan in a recent interview with Zoom, shared insights about his upcoming project, a remake of the 2019 Tamil thriller Oththa Seruppu Size 7. Opening up about the film, Bachchan spoke about the film’s unique premise and stated, “I am part of a movie where I am the sole character. It revolves around just one role, played by me. The film is titled SSS7, which stands for Single Slipper Size 7. I believe Sunil Dutt Saab attempted a similar concept in Yaadein, but this film is set in an entirely different context and universe.”
Abhishek Bachchan has a busy schedule ahead with multiple projects in the pipeline. Apart from his involvement in SSS7, he is set to star in Priyadarshan’s Bachchan Singh. Additionally, the actor will feature in a biopic on legendary lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi, sharing the screen with Deepika Padukone. He is also set to appear in Prabhu Deva’s upcoming project titled Lefty.
