Durgesh Kumar aka Bhushan Bhaiya from the popular series Panchayat has achieved a significant milestone by purchasing his first house in the city of dreams after enduring hard days for years. On Wednesday, the actor posted a picture of his house keys on social media and wrote, “Aapna Ghar… Mumbai main. Thanks, Babuji Harekrishna Choudhary Aashirwad k liye (My home in Mumbai. Thanks to my father Harekrishna Choudhary for his blessings).”
As soon as he shared the news on Instagram, fans and admirers flooded the comment section with love and admiration for the actor. An Instagram user wrote, “Bahut Bahut Mubarak ho bhai…you deserve it and have earned it.” Another commented, “Congratulations sir, I hope you achieve many more and keep entertaining us.” A user congratulated him in ‘Bhushan Bhaiya’ style and wrote, “Dekh raha hai Vinod bhaiya ji khud ka ghar le liye Mumbai mein Congratulations. (Are you seeing this Vinod? Brother has bought his own home in Mumbai. Congratulations).”

Created by TVF, Panchayat Season 3 also featured Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Chandan Roy, Ashok Pathak and Faisal Malik in lead roles.
Earlier, in an interview with Lallantop, the actor recalled his struggling days and revealed that he faced depression twice in the last 11 years. He said, “You need to be prepared psychologically, physically, mentally, emotionally and economically to be an actor. I have suffered depression twice in 11 years. Unless you are not psychologically, economically and mentally healthy, please don’t come into the acting field. I am being brutally honest about it.”
Hailing from Bihar’s Darbhanga, Durgesh Kumar made his acting debut with Imtiaz Ali’s Highway in 2014 and later, did many small roles in films like Sultan, Freaky Ali, Dhadak, Bhakshak and Laapataa Ladies. But he gained popularity for his performance in the TVF show Panchayat. He will be next seen in the satirical social drama film Legal Baba.
