7th Pay Commission:DA hiked by 12 percent for government employees and pensioners of THIS state

In the meantime, Tripura CM stated, part-time employees will benefit from their nearly doubled compensation.

7th Pay Commission: Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) will be increased by 12% for state government employees and pensioners, according to the Tripura government. The new increase will take effect on December 1. The DA of state government employees has increased from 8% to 20% as a result of this.

According to Chief Minister Manik Saha, the decision will benefit 1,04,600 regular employees and 80,800 pensioners. “The benefit will be provided to part-time employees whose salaries have nearly doubled,” Saha stated at a press conference.


The chief minister stated that the government’s decision to increase the DA/DR by 12% will cost Rs 120 crore per month and Rs 1,440 crore annually.

Saha stated, “The government has revised the salary structures to give benefit to the lakhs of employees and their families despite shortage of resources.”

Vice president Priest Jishnu Debbarma, who holds the Money portfolio, said there has been analysis for not expanding DA for government workers and social benefits to the recipients.

“The government tries to help as many people as possible. By taking the courageous step, we want to set an example for employees of the state government, “he said.

To a question how the extra weight of Rs 1,440 crore every year will be made due, the Delegate CM answered, “This is a craft of overseeing finance successfully in the midst of asset imperative. To maximize the benefits to the people, courage and a big heart are required.

Debbarma stated, “It is the perception of the people how they look at it” regarding whether it will be regarded as a poll bonanza or a New Year’s celebration. The Northeast Assembly elections are scheduled for February of next year.
