2024 Hyundai Creta price; Creta facelift waiting period, popular variants, colours



Creta petrol and turbo-petrol have the shortest waiting periods; Creta SX(O) is the most popular variant.


Barely 10 days after the launch of the Hyundai Creta facelift, we now have details on how long you’ll have to wait for deliveries. Buyers of the refreshed Creta – priced from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 20 lakh – have, 19 variants to choose from, including five engine and gearbox options. As seems to be the industry trend, the top variants seem to have a higher demand.

  1. Creta diesel MT and AT waiting period is 4-5 months
  2. Creta petrol and turbo-petrol waiting period is 3-4 months
  3. Most popular variant is top-spec SX(O); most popular colour is black

2024 Hyundai Creta waiting periods

Dealer sources tell us that Hyundai’s Creta diesel, which is powered by a 116hp, 1.5-litre unit and comes with 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque convertor gearbox options, has the longest waiting period. Customers who book today will have to wait 4-5 months for delivery of their Creta diesel.

The Creta also comes with a 115hp, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine – with 6-speed manual and CVT options – and a new 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol powerplant that has a 7-speed dual-clutch auto as standard. Waiting periods for both these petrol versions stands at 3-4 months.

2024 Hyundai Creta variants

Of the seven trim levels on offer, buyers of the refreshed Creta seem to prefer the top-spec SX(O) trim, in both, manual and automatic form. Depending on the engine and transmission, the Creta SX(O) is priced between Rs 17.24 lakh-20 lakh. Meanwhile, dealer sources reveal that the mid-spec S variant –only available in 1.5 petrol-manual and 1.5 diesel-manual form and priced at Rs 13.39 lakh and Rs 14.82 lakh, respectively – is the least popular selection. In addition, our sources also let us know that from the seven colour options available with the Creta facelift, Abyss Black is the most asked for finish, while Titan Grey has attracted the least amount of buyers.
