Minor styling tweaks aside, the XL6 will get features like a 360 degree camera, among others.
Maruti Suzuki has been sharing info on the new XL6 in bits and pieces, ahead of its price announcement on April 21, 2022; bookings for the 6-seater MPV are already open. Some of the updates on the XL6 will be similar to the ones found on the recently launched Ertiga facelift, but with the former being a premium product for Maruti, it will come with some unique feature add-ons.

Being the premium alternative to the new Ertiga, the XL6 facelift will receive a revised front grille with minor reprofiling to the bumpers, new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and new standard and dual-tone colour options. Meanwhile, official teasers reveal that the XL6 facelift will now come with connected car tech.
Maruti will also equip the new XL6 facelift with four airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera on the top trim and an all-new infotainment system.
Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift: powertrain details
The premium MPV will now feature the new K15C 1.5-litre DualJet petrol engine that replaces the outgoing K15B 1.5-litre unit. This motor will now produce 115hp via a new 6-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters that replaces the old 4-speed unit. Maruti claims that the XL6 facelift will offer better fuel efficiency thanks to its tried and tested DualJet technology.
Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift: rivals in India
Deliveries for the updated XL6 are expected to begin by end of April 2022. Key rivals for the updated XL6 will include the Kia Carens, Mahindra Marazzo, higher variants of the Ertiga and lower variants of the Innova Crysta.
