KTM’s entry-level adventure-tourer gets a pair of new colour schemes for 2022, while the price remains unchanged.
The big news around KTM at the moment is that it is in the midst of rolling out its updated RC range of sportbikes, but at the same time, it has also updated its entry-level adventure tourer offering, the 250 Adventure, for 2022.
The bike itself remains unchanged, but what is new for this year are a pair of fresh colour options called Electronic Orange and Factory Racing Blue. These updates are in line with the recent revisions made to the 390 Adventure’s colour palette.
Another aspect that has remained unchanged is price, with the 250 Adventure continuing to cost Rs 2.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). For reference, its most direct rival, the Benelli TRK 251, is priced at, you guessed it, Rs 2.51 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Powering the 250 Adventure is the same 248.8cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that also does duty in the 250 Duke. Output figures stand at 30hp and 24Nm of torque. Helping its off-road credentials are 200mm of ground clearance, and suspension travel of 170mm and 177mm at the front and rear, respectively.
