While the 1.2L NA engine produces 83bhp and 113Nm of torque, the turbo unit is good for 118bhp and 175Nm of torque. The turbo-diesel engine produces 99bhp and 240Nm of torque.
Transmission choices include a 5-speed MT with 1.2L petrol, a 6-speed MT as standard, an iMT and 7-speed DCT with 1.0L turbo-unit. Similar to the Sonet, the Venue diesel could also receive an automatic gearbox option. With 6AT, this engine should offer 113bhp and 250Nm of torque.
2022 HYUNDAI VENUE LAUNCH TIMELINE
The new Venue is probably going to be revealed in the primary quarter of 2022, while India dispatch expected in mid-2022. It will equal any semblance of the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Vitara Brezza and the Toyota Urban Cruiser.
