A right tyre size is not only important for good ride quality, but also influences fuel economy and refinement.
Is it advisable to upgrade the tyres of my 2012 model Honda City from 175/65 R15 to 185/55 R16? Would it decrease fuel efficiency?

Autocar India says: Upgrading from 175/65 R15 to the 185/55 R16 will not make any difference to the ride height as the overall diameter for both sizes is the same. The increase in width of the tyre from 175mm to 185mm will improve handling marginally. There would be negligible change in fuel efficiency, and it would be dependent on the wheel rims and tyre assembly you opt for.
