Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Friday launched a mobile application for commuters which will allow them to generate QR tickets for traveling in the Delhi Metro. The mobile application allows passengers to purchase tickets online and get the QR code which they scan on stations to travel from Delhi Metro.
“With this new mobile App, passengers can now purchase tickets directly from their smartphones, eliminating the need to go to ticket counters/vending machines or stand in queues,” the metro authority added.
Passengers will now be able to enjoy a speedy and effective ticketing procedure, which ultimately saves them valuable time when commuting. The application provides support for a range of payment methods, such as UPI, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets, guaranteeing users flexibility and convenience.
Passengers have the freedom to select their preferred payment option and effortlessly finalize the transaction directly within the application.
