The head of product at Google Stadia has left the corporate.
The Information revealed a report noting that John Justice, VP and Head of Product at Google Stadia, had moved on from Google. This was later confirmed in a press release acquired by 9to5. “We can confirm John is no longer with Google and we wish him well on his next step,” Google advised 9to5.
Justice was one of many lead faces behind Google Stadia, and beforehand spoke to IGN during Gamescom 2019 about the way forward for the platform. It’s one other blow for the cloud gaming service which shut down all of its internal game development studios in January of this year.
