Filmmaker SS Rajamouli is in Odisha, shooting for his next with Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The filmmaker got some time off from work and went on a solo trek along Deomali trail, the highest mountain peak of the state. He took to X (formerly Twitter) and lauded the beauty and the view from the place. However, he slammed tourists for littering the area and urged them to take charge of the area’s cleanliness.
Sharing a video from the Deomali trail, Rajamouli wrote, “Had an amazing solo trek to Deomali, Odisha’s highest and most stunning peak. The view from the top was absolutely breathtaking.”
In a firm tone, he added, “However, it was disheartening to see the trail marred by litter. Such pristine wonders deserve better. A little civic sense can make a huge difference… Every visitor should carry back their waste to help protect these places.” Check out the video here:

Earlier this month, Rajamouli and his crew left for Odisha to shoot crucial scenes of SSMB 29. They were accompanied by the film’s leading stars, Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Recently, a crucial scene featuring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj, who was in a wheelchair, was leaked and quickly went viral. Although the filmmakers acted swiftly to have the videos removed from X, the damage had already been done. In response, Rajamouli and his team implemented stricter security measures on set to prevent further leaks.
Meanwhile, SSMB 29 has yet to receive an official announcement. However, Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister, Pravati Parida, confirmed the cast and revealed that the film would be shot in the state, following Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2.
