Australian cricketer David Warner enthralled his fans with videos of him dancing to Hindi and South Indian songs throughout the COVID-19 lockdown. So, when he announced his Telugu debut with Robinhood, fans weren’t at all surprised, as they were already aware of his love for Indian cinema. On Sunday, March 23, Warner shared the stage with his co-stars Sreeleela and Nithiin, as they taught him dance steps on the stage at the pre-release event and trailer launch of Robinhood.
David Warner was seen trying to match the steps of Sreeleela and Nithiin on the stage. After a successful attempt, Warner is seen sharing a light-hearted moment with his co-stars on the stage. The video is going viral on the web. Take a look:
Earlier this morning, David Warner landed in Hyderbad and received a warm welcome. With a massive bouquet in his hands, Warner was seen giving autographs to his fans, who had gathered for his glimpse. The Australian cricketer shared that he thoroughly enjoyed shooting for the film.

Last week, the film’s makers, Mythri Movie Makers, welcomed the Australian left-handed opening batsman with a heartfelt post on X. They wrote, “After shining and leaving a mark on the ground, it is time for him to shine on the silver screen. Introducing the widely loved @davidwarner31 to Indian Cinema with #Robinhood in an exciting cameo. Grand release worldwide on March 28th.”
Warner also expressed his excitement on social media. He penned, “Indian Cinema, here I come. Excited to be a part of #Robinhood. Thoroughly enjoyed shooting for this one. Grand release worldwide on March 28th.”
Robinhood stars Nithiin as the titular character, who steals from the rich to give to the poor. His character Honey Singh is involved in a series of robberies. The film also stars Sreeleela, Vennela Kishore, Rajendra Prasad, Devdatta Nage, Shine Tom Chacko, Aadukalam Naren, and Mime Gopi in pivotal roles. The music has been composed by National Award-winning composer G V Prakash Kumar and cinematography by Sai Sriram. It is slated for release on March 28, 2025.
