Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is a doting mother to her two-year-old son, Vayu. In a recent conversation, she shared that she has been saving for her son’s education and wants him to be a reader. Although the actress never attended college, she shared that her husband, Anand Ahuja, recently gave her a tour of his alma mater, The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and she felt a sense of envy.
While speaking with Vogue India, Sonam Kapoor said, “My husband went to Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania. When he recently took me around the campus, it was the first time I felt envy. So I’ve been saving up for Vayu’s education. I want him to be a reader.”
A few years ago, Sonam Kapoor had shared that her biggest regret in life is that she has not completed her studies. “I stopped studying at the 12th. Then I came and became an actress. I could have waited for four years,” she said in 2015. Sonam Kapoor worked as an assistant director on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2005 film ‘Black’ after which she made her acting debut in Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’ in 2007.
Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja welcomed their son Vayu in 2022. The couple often shares adorable glimpses of their son on Instagram. Just a few days ago, the ‘Raanjhanaa’ actress delighted her followers with a string of pictures from her ‘unexpected week off’ with Vayu and Anand Ahuja.
Out of all the photos and videos, the one that grabbed the fans’ attention was a clip wherein Sonam is seen performing Pilates with her son sitting on her lap. She tells her son, “Hold on to Mumma’s stomach,” which he immediately follows. Anand, on the other hand, recorded this beautiful moment.
“An unexpected week off with no agenda and what a beautiful time spent with my baby boy. No distractions and just life as it should be. @anandahuja we’ve made such a little peace of heaven for ourselves. Love you so much. #everydayphenomenal,” she wrote.
