Salman Khan’s Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, has received a UA 13+ certificate from CBFC. The film, with a runtime of 150.8 minutes, is set for a grand opening and trailer release this Sunday.

Salman Khan’s Sikandar is all set to roar into cinemas, and the Censor Board has officially given it the green light! The action-packed entertainer has been awarded a UA 13+ certificate by CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification), meaning fans of all ages (well, almost) can buckle up for some high-octane drama. Hence, Sikandar is suitable for audiences aged 13 and above with parental guidance.
The film’s total runtime has been locked at 150.8 minutes. Sikandar is expected to have a grand opening of Rs 35-40 crore.
Meanwhile, Sikandar is gearing up for its grand trailer release this Sunday. Salman Khan had earlier shared the update along with a brand-new poster featuring Rashmika Mandanna. In an interview with Pinkvilla recently, director AR Murugadoss confirmed that the final edit of Sikandar has been locked. Shedding light on the film’s runtime, he revealed, “The first half of Sikandar is around 1 hour and 15 minutes and the second half is about 1 hour and 5 minutes. The overall run time is about 2 hours and 20 minutes.”
He also mentioned that the team is wrapping up work on the trailer, aiming to meet the expectations of fans eagerly waiting for the First Day, First Show experience. AR Murugadoss added, “But that aside, we also want to convey that Sikandar is lot more than just a mass film – it’s an entertainer with repeat value. It’s a film with lots of emotion and we are targeting all section of audiences – from Salman sir fans, to masses, classes, and the family audience.”
Meanwhile, the much-awaited trailer of Sikander will drop on Sunday.
In Sikandar, Salman Khan takes on the role of a man who overcomes life’s hardships to become a beacon of hope for the less fortunate. His character starts off carefree but undergoes a powerful transformation, driven by memories of his late wife.
Sikandar stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role alongside Salman. Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal and Prateik Babbar also play key roles. The film is set to release on March 30.
