Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary on Monday, February 10. Namrata’s sister and actress Shilpa Shirodkar took to her Instagram handle to pen a heartfelt note to wish the celebrity couple. Shilpa said that Namrata and Mahesh are adorable together and define the true meaning of pure love.
Shilpa Shirodkar took to Instagram and wrote, “To the most adorable couple I know 🥂Every moment I witness of you two, defines the true meaning of friendship, companionship and pure love. The warmth you two bring into your beautiful bond makes it even more special.”
She added, “20 years ago, my Chin found her soulmate. Chintukli, the amazing and supportive wife that you are and Mahesh, the incredible husband that you are, you two were bound to raise such an adorable family! As the reality show wrapped up, fans couldn’t help but notice that despite her strong performance, Namrata Shirodkar and Mahesh Babu did not publicly support her on social media. Naturally, curiosity sparked and questions followed as to why Mahesh, with his massive fan following, didn’t give her a public nod of support.
In a candid conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Shilpa set the record straight. “Relationships shouldn’t be gauged by the posts shared on social media,” she said, emphasising that love and family bonds are not dependent on public displays.
“I went into the house for who I am, and not as Namrata’s sister, or Mahesh’s sister-in-law. Of course, he is a superstar and popular, but that doesn’t mean he has to be part of my career, right?” Shilpa questioned. She was also quick to dismiss any misconceptions about Mahesh Babu’s reserved nature being mistaken for arrogance.
