The trailer of ‘The Roshans’, Netflix docu-series on Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan’s family, has been released. It features testimonials from Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit and others.

The highly anticipated docu-series ‘The Roshans’, featuring Hrithik Roshan, Rakesh Roshan, and Rajesh Roshan, is set to release on Netflix soon. The documentary has garnered quite a lot of buzz ever since it was announced in December 2024. Now, much to fans’ delight, the trailer of ‘The Roshans’ has also been unveiled by the makers. It is available to watch on the streaming platform. In the trailer, several celebrities shared their admiration for the Roshan family. One standout moment comes from Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is seen lauding the Roshan family legacy, in the trailer of the docu-series.
Shah Rukh Khan features in the trailer of ‘The Roshans’ and his clip from the trailer has gone viral on social media. Several fan pages of King Khan have shared the 9-second clip during which he talks about the Roshan family. Reflecting on the Roshan family legacy, Shah Rukh Khan said, “It is actually what the elders have passed on to their younger generation. I think because of that, all three of them have that grain.” Check out the clip below!
Shah Rukh Khan and Rakesh Roshan have worked together in projects such as Karan Arjun, Koyla and King Uncle. Meanwhile, SRK has worked with Hrithik in films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham… and Don 2. Hrithik also made a cameo appearance in SRK’s 2007 film Om Shanti Om.
Meanwhile, renowned figures like Karan Johar, Asha Bhosle, Madhuri Dixit, Javed Akhtar also expressed their deep appreciation for the Roshans in the trailer. Asha Bhosle says, “It’s not very often that an entire family turns out to be artists. It’s rare. But this has happened in this family. In Roshan ji’s family.” Madhuri Dixit lauds the Roshan family for being passionate about what they do, and their love for their craft.
Javed Akhtar says, “Their personality, their cultural background, it reflects in their work, whether it’s poetry, or their music or their acting or writing.” Meanwhile, Karan Johar adds, “Each generation has contributed to not just the fabric of Indian cinema, but to the success stories of Indian cinema. This is a legacy that will remain there for posterity.”
This documentary series ‘The Roshans’ chronicles the trials and triumphs of Bollywood’s iconic Roshan family- musician Roshan Lal Nagrath, Rajesh, Rakesh and Hrithik Roshan. The audiences will experience the rich tapestry of their multi-generational legacy through song and stories. For the first time, the Roshans offer an intimate journey through their lives, exploring three generations’ contributions to Hindi cinema.
The Roshans is set to release on Netflix on 17th January, 2025.
