Telugu actress Rukshar Dhillon has spoken out against paparazzi culture after an uncomfortable encounter in Hyderabad. She recently found herself in an awkward situation at the trailer launch of her upcoming film Dilruba in Hyderabad. While attending the event on Thursday, she expressed her frustration with the paparazzi for taking photos.

Adressing the issue on stage, the actress said, “I would rather not name anyone, but some photographers or journalists take pictures even when we request them not to. When I was uncomfortable on stage, they still clicked my photos.”

Sporting a chic baby pink peplum strapless top paired with a midi skirt featuring a slit, Dhillon revealed that she had initially asked the paparazzi politely, with “love” and “respect,” to avoid taking uncomfortable shots.

The actress added, “Is that right or wrong? I won’t take names, but I think this message has reached whom it’s meant to reach; that’s more than enough.”

Rukshar Dhillon, born in 1993, began her acting journey with the Kannada film Run Antony, sharing the screen with Vinay Rajkumar and Sushmita Joshi. She later made a mark in Telugu cinema with films like Aakatayi, Krishnarjuna Yudham, and ABCD: American Born Confused Desi.

At 31, Rukshar expanded her horizons by stepping into Bollywood with Bhangra Paa Le, which hit screens in 2020. Directed by Sneha Taurani and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, the comedy film featured her alongside Sunny Kaushal, the younger brother of actor Vicky Kaushal.
