Yuzvendra Chahal lit up the Chepauk stadium on Wednesday with a game-changing hat-trick in Match 49 of the IPL 2025. Playing for Punjab Kings, the spinner dismissed MS Dhoni, Deepak Hooda, and Anshul Kambhoj in a sensational 19th over, shifting the momentum in favour of his team. While the crowd erupted in applause, the moment also caught the attention of RJ Mahvash, who took to Instagram with a sweet message for the cricketer.
“God mode on kyaaaa? @yuzi_chahal23 strength of a warrior sir,” Mahvash wrote in her Instagram story, referring to Chahal’s fierce bowling display. Her post has reignited buzz around her rumoured relationship with the spinner, especially following his divorce from Dhanashree Verma.
The radio jockey and content creator has often been linked to Chahal. Earlier this year, Mahvash cheekily commented during a brand video, “Team banao aur paisa kamao, wicket toh Chahal le hi lega.”
Speculation first began in December 2024 after Mahvash shared a Christmas photo featuring Chahal. The rumours intensified when the two were spotted together at the Champions Trophy final in Dubai, where they were seen cheering from the stands.
However, Mahvash has previously addressed the dating rumours in an interview with Yuvaa. “I’m very single and happy. I don’t understand the current concept of marriage, and I’m someone who would only date if I see a future. Like Ali from Dhoom, I start imagining kids and forever,” she said.
Despite the denial, fans have continued to draw connections. A cryptic reel she recently shared further fuelled speculation. In the clip, Mahvash says, “Koi ladka aayega toh wo hoga bas ek… wohi friend hoga, wohi best friend hoga, wohi boyfriend hoga, wohi husband hoga…” The caption, “Bas ek hi hoga,” left followers guessing once again.
