‘Record tourism, infra boost’: Jammu and Kashmir after four years of abrogation of Article 370

In 2019, HM Amit Shah moved resolution revoking Article 370 from J&K in Rajya Sabha on August 05. 4 years after the abrogation, Centre’s strategy of prioritising development has begun showing results on the ground. In the path of development, the state has witnessed the expenditure of the highest-ever funds in the financial year 2022-23. To attract investment, Centre, UT admin focused on reforms such as ease of doing business, land and capital provisions. Centre has also generated employment for 2,63,595 people in J&K under different schemes in financial year 2022-23. In tourism as well, Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed a significant rise after abrogation of Article 370.
