Rakesh Roshan’s life hasn’t been a bed of roses. In the documentary The Roshans, the veteran actor-turned-filmmaker shed light on how the lack of acting offers coupled with a financial strain took a toll on him and so, he forayed into production and then turned towards direction. On the personal front too, life hasn’t been easy. Post the release of Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, he was shot at in 2000. In 2019, he was diagnosed with throat cancer and emerged as a survivor.

In a recent interview, the actor was asked if he was left bothered after no Bigg Boss 18 contestant cheered after Salman Khan announced him as the winner. Karan mentioned that all he heard was Chum Darang and Shilpa Shirodkar celebrating his win.

Gurucharan Singh has confirmed that he asked Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah maker Asit Kumarr Modi for work when he met him in 2024. However, he also explained that he can’t return as Roshan Singh Sodhi since Balvinder Singh has already been playing the role for four years now.
