Bollywood’s ‘Desi Girl’ Priyanka Chopra might be soon seen alongside Telugu superstar Allu Arjun in director Atlee’s next big project. According to recent reports, Atlee is in advanced discussions with Priyanka to play a significant role in this highly anticipated film. However, official confirmation has not been made yet.
According to Pinkvilla, this Allu Arjun-starrer with Atlee will be a “Parallel Universe” movie bankrolled by Sun Pictures. The report also suggests that Arjun is getting a massive paycheck for this project.
According to the latest buzz, Allu Arjun’s next film won’t be a two-hero project after all. Turns out, the Pushpa star will be pulling off dual roles instead. While early reports hinted at a two-lead setup, Arjun’s team has since clarified that he’ll be the solo lead, but with double the screen presence.
On the work front, Allu Arjun was last seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule, where he returned as the fierce red sandalwood smuggler Pushparaju. The sequel dives deeper into his rise to power as he takes on deadlier rivals and cements his empire. The film features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and Fahadh Faasil as the main villain. It also stars Jagapathi Babu, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, and more in key roles.
Word on the street is that Allu Arjun might team up once again with director Trivikram Srinivas for their fourth film together. This time, the duo is rumoured to explore a mythological theme, with Allu possibly stepping into the divine shoes of Lord Karthikeya.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is gearing up for another massive project as she’s playing the lead in the much-talked-about SSMB29. Directed by none other than SS Rajamouli and starring Mahesh Babu, the film is said to be a jungle adventure on a jaw-dropping scale. The movie also features Prithviraj Sukumaran.
