No need to stand in line to get your ration card, check how you can now book online: Ration Card

Online Ration Card: The ration card is used to issue rations to low-income families and serves as identification. A program that the federal government is running to provide free rations requires a ration card. If you have not yet created a ration card, you should not be concerned right away. You can make ration cards while you are at home. For this, an online application is required.

In addition to being required to receive rations, a ration card can also be utilized in the same manner as an Aadhaar card. A ration card is both a proof of residency and an identity card. Aadhaar cards, voter ID cards, bank accounts, and PM Kisan Yojana applications all make use of this system. A ration card is issued only to citizens who meet the requirements, not to all Indian nationals.

In the past, people had to go to offices to get their ration cards, but now every state lets its citizens make theirs online. You can accomplish this by visiting the official website of the state’s Department of Food, Supplies, and Consumer Affairs.
