The B20 represents the voice of the entire G20 business community.
Integration into global value chains and building trade resilience, skilling and mobility of workers, financing growth and sustainable infrastructure, and climate change and efficiency in utilisation of resources will be on the agenda of Indian businesses during India’s G20 Presidency.
“B20 India will commence work on various taskforces and action councils after the inception meeting, scheduled on 22-24 January, 2023, culminating into the B20 India Summit in August 2023,” the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) said in a statement.
The CII has been appointed the B20 India Secretariat byGoI to lead the B20 India process.
“We believe that a renewed strategy for businesses to strengthen global collaborations will foster economic stability, progress and growth that is inclusive and sustainable,” Chandrasekaran said, adding that B20 India will take forward the agenda for equitable development and highlight solutions to G20 for meeting the challenges of the future.
