Mahira Khan shares first photo with hubby Salim Karim from her wedding
Pakistani actress Mahira Khan got married to her boyfriend Salim Karim on Sunday. The wedding was an intimate one with only family and friends in attendance.
Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is in the headlines after her wedding pictures with her secret boyfriend Salim Karim surfaced on Sunday. Fans were eagerly waiting for the pictures and today finally their wait came to an end. The actress took to her Instagram handle and shared a beautiful picture featuring her as the bride and Salim as the groom. In no time the photo went viral and wishes started coming in. In minutes she also shared her wedding video.
Mahira sharing the photo on her handle wrote, “Bismillah’. Sonam Kapoor congratulated the couple and wished, “Congratulations beautiful girl God bless you both.” Sania Mirza also congratulated them. Mouni Roy wrote, “Heartiest congratulations to both of you. Wish you the happiest most meaningful journey ahead.” Sharing the wedding video, Mahira wrote, “My Shehzada, Salim.” The actress was reportedly dating the businessman for five years before they decided to tie the knot. This marks Mahira’s second wedding.

The actress, who is known for her Pakistani TV show Humsafar and working with Shah Rukh Khan on Raees, married Salim in an intimate wedding ceremony. In the video, Mahira was seen walking down the aisle and uniting with her husband while her family and friends joined her in her happy moment.
Mahira opted for a gorgeous ivory outfit which featured a long white veil for her special day. On the other hand, her husband chose a traditonal black sherwani. He styled the look with a blue turban. Mahira was seen making her way to an emotional Salim. The businessman welcomed Mahira with a kiss on her forehead. The video also revealed that Mahira had an open-air wedding ceremony with minimal decor.
Mahira first opened up about Salim in a conversation in 2020. During Rewind with Samina Peerzada, Mahira confessed she was dating Salim. She shared more details about him during an Instagram Live with fashion mogul Hassan Sheheryar Yasin.
As reported by Pakistani outlet Dawn, Mahira said, “There’s a line in Humsafar which I thought was beautiful, where Ashar says to Khirad, ‘Pata nahi tum mujhay kis naiki ke badlay mein mili ho’ (I don’t know which good deed of mine led to you) and I think the same about him. I must have done something good in my life that God has sent him my way.”
Mahira has a son Azlaan from her first marriage.
