  1. Deliveries for Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e top-spec variants to start in March
  2. Entry-level and mid-spec variants’ deliveries will begin in a phased manner
  3. The price range is Rs 18.90 lakh-26.90 lakh for BE 6 and Rs 21.90 lakh-30.50 lakh for XEV 9e
Mahindra BE 6 price list (ex-showroom)
Variant Price Delivery
Pack One (59kWh) Rs 18.90 lakh August 2025
Pack One Above (59kWh) Rs 20.50 lakh August 2025

Pack Three Select (59kWh) Rs 24.50 lakh June 2025

For context, the current EV market leader, Tata Motors, despatched 5,240 all-electric vehicles in January. Tata’s EV portfolio comprises five models: the Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV and Curvv EV. In fact, the Curvv EV (Rs 17.49 lakh-21.99 lakh) is one of the BE 6’s direct rivals. Mahindra recently revealed prices for the full BE 6 range (Rs 18.90 lakh-26.90 lakh), and the midsize e-SUV received a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating shortly before the price announcement.

Mahindra XEV 9e price list (ex-showroom)
Variant Price Deliveries

Pack Three (79kWh) Rs 30.50 lakh Mid-March 2025

While the Mahindra XEV 9e has no direct rivals currently, its Rs 21.90 lakh-30.50 lakh price range pits it against the BYD Atto 3 (Rs 24.99 lakh-33.99 lakh). Tata’s Harrier EV, which is scheduled to arrive in the coming months, will take on the XEV 9e.

As we’ve reported, deliveries will begin in mid-March for the range-topping variants, and for other variants, they’ll start in a phased manner from June to August.

Both of Mahindra’s e-SUVs are powered by either a 59kWh battery and a 231hp, 380Nm rear-mounted motor or a 79kWh battery and 286hp, 380Nm rear motor. The ARAI-certified ranges for the 59kWh and 79kWh BE 6 are 556km and 682km, respectively; for the XEV 9e, the figures are 542km and 656km.
