Hrithik Roshan is currently on a USA Tour to mark his 25 years as a part of the Indian film industry. During an event in Atlanta, he called Christopher Nolan one of his favourite directors.

Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan has expressed his desire to work with British- American director Christopher Nolan, while on a USA Tour in Atlanta to mark his 25 years as a part of the Indian Entertainment Industry. Terming the Academy Award winning director as ‘one of his favourites’ Hrithik shared his admiration for Christopher Nolan’s work. The filmmaker is celebrated for his movies such as Mememto (2000), The Dark Knight Trilogy (2005-2012), Inception (2010), Interstellar (2014) and his most recent work Oppenheimer (2023) which won the Academy Award for Best Director and Best Picture.
Speaking about his dream collaborations, Hrithik said, “Rakesh Roshan – that dream happened right in the beginning” alluding to his debut film Kaho… Naa Pyaar Hai. He further added, “Now, I’d actually like to work with Christopher Nolan. He is one of my favourite directors.” Hrithik’s answer was met with a lot of cheers with the audience in Atlanta.
In 2020, it was reported that the actor had signed with the Gersh agency in the United States, leading to speculations that he will be working in Hollywood. A report at the time also suggested that he was in talks to join a Hollywood thriller as the parallel lead. However, since then, there have been no updates on this development.
Hrithik Roshan, who is renowned overseas for his films like Kaho Naa.. Pyaar Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Dhoom 2, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and War, to name a few, embarked on a USA Tour after nearly two decades. The tour witnessed an audience of nearly 5000 in its very first location – Atlanta.
Hrithik will next be seen in Yash Raj Film’s ‘War 2’ alongside NTR Jr and Kiara Advani. The film is set to release on August 14th 2025. Meanwhile, Hrithik will also be making his directorial debut with Krrish 4, which was announced by his father Rakesh Roshan a week ago. “Duggu 25yrs back I launched you as an actor, and today again after 25 years you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers Aditya Chopra & myself to take forward our most ambitious film #Krrish4. Wish you all the success in this new avatar with good wishes and blessings!” wrote Rakesh Roshan.
Hrithik confirmed his directorial debut during the Atlanta event, and said that he is extremely nervous about it, and needs all the encouragement that he can get.
