Ira Khan also penned a heartwarming note for fiance Nupur Shikhare along with several unseen pictures from their engagement.
Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan, is all set to get married to her longtime partner, Nupur Shikhare, in January 2024. The couple got engaged in Mumbai on November 18 of the previous year. Ira has now taken to Instagram to share some heartwarming throwback photos from their engagement celebration. The images capture the couple deeply immersed in each other’s presence. Ira looked stunning in an off-shoulder red gown with understated makeup and her hair gracefully styled in a loose bun. Meanwhile, Nupur looked dashing in a black formal suit complemented by a white shirt and a black bowtie.
Along with cute pictures, she penned a sweet message for her fiance Nuper. “I don’t think I tell you enough or am able to express the extent of my love and appreciation for you. I know you and I both feel it when we cuddle though. You are an integral part and variable of the environment that has helped me grow. I don’t think you will ever know the extent of it nor will I be able to articulate it. And there is still the whole other side of what you bring to my life that goes beyond, and that is outside of, personal growth. And it’s an equally big and amazing side. The fun, love, companionship, stimulus, awe. I could go on. I don’t believe in destiny but now I understand why someone may think destiny exists. I just wanted to say I love you. Thank you. In another post, she shared some candid pictures of Nupur, who was seen dancing with all his heart alongside his close friends and family. In the first photo, he can be spotted re-creating the iconic steps of the hit song Malhari, while in another photo, he is captured dancing with actress Mithila Palkar. In the rest of the pictures, he can be seen having a wonderful time. Sharing the pictures, Ira wrote, “Have you met the best decision of my life? He fills my heart.”
Ira also posted pictures of Nupur’s heartwarming proposal and delightful pictures of them dancing with their families, including her mom Reena Dutta, father Aamir Khan, and half-brother Azad Rao Khan at their engagement party.
Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s engagement ceremony was an intimate affair that was attended by close friends and family including Kiran Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Imran Khan, and many others. Nupur is a celebrity fitness trainer by profession.
