RSS’ Joint General Secretary Krishna Gopal on Thursday said India can send wheat to Pakistan to help it tackle the food crisis. He was speaking at a function organised by film producer Iqbal Durrani to translate Sam Veda into Persian language. RSS leader Indresh Kumar was also present at the function at Sainik Farms in Delhi.
“We feel people in Pakistan must also live happily. It is sad that wheat flour is being sold at ‘250 per kg there. India can offer 25- 50 lakh tonnes of wheat but Pakistan is not asking for it. They were with us 70 years ago. There is no point in having such a distance,” Gopal said addressing the function.
