Hyun Bin has carved his space as one of the most renowned stars in the Korean entertainment industry. With an impressive career spanning hit projects like Crash Landing on You, Hyde Jekyll, Me; Friend, Our Legend and Memories of the Alhambra, he continues to soar. Next, he will appear on the silver screen in the highly awaited film Harbin alongside Lee Dong Wook, Jo Woo Jin and others.
Harbin, originally scheduled for December 25, has been preponed to December 24. As per reports, Harbin will now hit the theatres a day before i.e. December 24. On December 9, 2024, the production team at CJM Entertainment confirmed the change but chose not to disclose the reason behind the decision.
Directed and written by Woo Min Ho, Harbin has already created a massive buzz among fans. Its gripping trailer has only amplified the excitement. This biographical historical action thriller, set in 1909, revolves around the assassination of Japan’s first Prime Minister, Itō Hirobumi. The movie will see Hyun Bin playing the role of Ahn Jung Geun, the Korean independence activist behind the assassination. On the other hand, Lee Dong Wook will portray the independence fighter Lee Chang Seop in Harbin.
Apart from them, the movie will also feature Park Jung Min, Jeon Yeo Been and Yoo Jae Myung. According to the trailer, their characters join forces on a daring mission in Harbin to eliminate Itō Hirobumi.

Hyun Bin, 42, is leaving no stone unturned in promoting his upcoming period drama Harbin. The actor is set to make his appearance on the popular variety show Zzanbro Shin Dong Yup. According to a December 6 report by Korean media outlet OSEN, Hyun Bin will discuss his new movie with host Shin Dong Yup. Joining him on the show will be his fellow cast members Park Jung Min, Jeon Yeo Been and Park Hoon. Known for its unique format, the show features candid conversations over drinks. This will mark Hyun Bin’s first presence on the show.
