Honda car discounts before Navratri, Diwali 2022

All cars except the City Hybrid get discounts this month.

Honda is offering multiple discounts and benefits on the fourth- and fifth-generation City, Amaze, Jazz and WR-V in September 2022. We tell you how much you can save on each car this month.

  • City Gen 4 gets the lowest discounts
  • Jazz, WR-V, City Gen 4 to be discontinued soon

Honda City (Gen 5)

Benefits of up to Rs 27,496

The fifth-generation Honda City is a popular choice in the midsize sedan segment, and gets the most discounts this month. Customers can either get a cash discount of Rs 5,000 or free accessories worth Rs 5,496. Additionally, Honda is offering a discount of Rs 5,000 as well as a bonus of Rs 7,000 on car exchange, a loyalty bonus of Rs 5,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000. However, there are no discounts on the City Hybrid.

Buyers will like the new City for the rev-happy nature of the new 1.5-litre petrol engine. It also has a 1.5-litre diesel engine, which is frugal and refined, and both engines are mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The CVT is exclusively available with the petrol unit. The cabin is spacious and the ride quality is supple, one of the best in class. A lot of premium kit and connected-car tech has now made it to the equipment list too.

Honda WR-V

Benefits of up to Rs 27,000

The crossover derivate of the Jazz, the WR-V gets increased ride height and slightly tweaked styling, and, as reported earlier, the crossover will likely be on sale till March 2023. It packs a spacious and well laid out cabin. The WR-V is offered with both petrol and diesel powertrains but lacks an automatic gearbox. Customers can avail a bonus of Rs 7,000 on car exchange along with an additional discount of Rs 10,000. Buyers of the WR-V will also get a corporate discount and loyalty bonus of Rs 5,000, each.

Honda Jazz

Benefits of up to Rs 25,000

The Jazz, which is the only hatchback in Honda’s stable, may be discontinued by November 2022. It is powered by a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. Furthemore, one of the strong point of the premium hatchback is its spacious cabin, although it still lacks many features that it rivals offer. Honda is offering a discount of Rs 10,000 on car exchange along with a bonus of Rs 7,000. Alongside this, there is a customer loyalty bonus of Rs 5,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 3,000.

Honda Amaze

Benefits of up to Rs 8,000

The Amaze is the only compact sedan in Honda’s line-up and received a mid-life refresh in 2021. It gets updated styling cues on the outside as well as a handful of new features on the inside. The Amaze also has a spacious cabin, but is not as well-equipped as its rivals.

The compact sedan gets a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol unit and a 100hp, (80hp in the automatic) 1.5-litre diesel unit. It is one of the only cars in its segment to offer an automatic gearbox with both engine options. Customers get a loyalty bonus of Rs 5000 along with a corporate discount of Rs 3,000.

Honda City (Gen 4)

Benefits of up to Rs 5,000

On sale since 2014, the fourth-generation City is sold alongside its successor, but will face the axe in December 2022. It is only powered by a 119hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine and is offered in two trims – SV and V – with both being offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Even though it may not be as tech-laden as its successor, it still has a comfortable ride and a spacious interior. Honda is only offering a customer loyalty bonus of Rs 5,000.
