The world’s bestselling motorcycle becomes OBD2B compliant
Hero has updated the Splendor Plus range to comply with the stringent OBD-2B emission norms. Apart from the emission compliance, the Splendor Plus remains unaltered. It continues to be powered by the same single-cylinder, air-cooled, 97.2cc producing 8hp and 8.05Nm. This motor is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. This mill also does duty in the updated Passion Plus and the HF models too.Â
The Splendor lineup is offered in three main variants – Splendor+, Splendor+ Xtec, and Splendor+ Xtec 2.0 – each differing in terms of features. The base Splendor+ stays true to its budget-friendly roots and comes with minimal equipment. In contrast, the top-end Splendor+ Xtec 2.0 adds modern touches like an LED headlight and Bluetooth-enabled digi-analogue instrument cluster. Notably, all variants come equipped with tubeless tyres as standard.
Prices for all the variants have increased by Rs 1,750. The Splendor Plus range starts from Rs 78,926 and goes up to Rs 85,501 for the Plus Xtec 2.0 model.Â
