Esha Deol says Hema Malini likes to carry shopping bags as purses because all of her things fit in easily in such bags.
For Hema Malini, shopping bags are the best of all purses. On Friday morning her actress-daughter Esha Deol took to her Instagram handle and dropped a picture of the OG Dream Girl in which she was seen carrying a shopping bag as her purse. In the photo, Hema Malini was seen posing in a green saree and and was all smiles Esha captured her carrying a shopping bag.
In the caption of her post, Esha revealed that Hema Malini likes to carry such shopping bags as purses because all of her things fit in easily in these bags. “In a world filled with designer wear the dream girl seems to be happy carrying a shopping bag as her purse – reason it’s easy all my stuff fits in so why not “That’s what I call the simple pleasures in life. ♥️ Way to go love you mamma,” she wrote.
Several social media users rushed to the comments section to laud ‘down to earth’ Hema Malini. “When your sour and inner being is strong you don’t need the externals to speak for u,” one of the comments read. Another fan wrote, “She is always been so grounded, so graceful and most beautiful”.
Esha Deol often drops pictures of her family members on social media. Just a few days back, she took to her Instagram stories and gave a shoutout to Bobby Deol after the teaser release of his upcoming movie Animal. “Wait for the last shot…(fire emoji)…epic @iambobbydeol,” Esha had written.
Esha Deol is Dharmendra’s daughter from his second marriage with Hema Malini. She also has a sister named Ahana Deol. Prior to Bollywood’s Dream Girl, Dharmendra was married to Prakash Kaur with who he has two sons – Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Dharmendra married Prakash Kaur in 1954 when he was reportedly just 19 years old. It is claimed that Dharmendra married Hema without giving Prakash a divorce.
