Production house Bhimavaram Talkies recently held the muhurat ceremony for their 116th film. It took place in Hyderabad today, on September 11. Award-winning filmmaker Narasimha Nandi has been roped in to direct this film. Actor JD Lakshmi Narayana gave the clap for the introductory shot of this film. Vijayendra Prasad, one of the noted Tamil screenwriters and directors, switched on the camera for the first scene of this untitled movie. Directors VV Vinayak, producer C Kalyan and actor Damodar Prasad were also present at this occasion. They presented the script of this film to Narasimha Nandi and producer Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana.
Rama Satyanarayana said in an interview that it has been exactly 20 years since he made his debut in the film industry. According to him, C Kalyan was the only colleague, who appreciated his work from the beginning. Rama Satyanarayana said that Kalyan had considered him as his brother. According to Rama Satyanarayana, he had treaded forward with the support of Kalyan.
JD Lakshmi Narayana said that the onus to make a good film lies with the makers. He added that he agreed to give the first clap for the film with this belief.
Nandi said that he has worked under the banner of producer Rama Satyanarayana in the past as well. He said that the producer has full belief in his capabilities and has given him all the creative freedom. Nandi said that Rama has given him another chance to direct a film under his banner because he is confident in his work. Nandi then revealed his source of inspiration behind this untitled film. According to him, this film is based on one of the novels penned by Gudipati Venkata Chalam aka Chalam. He is a Telugu writer and philosopher. Nandi didn’t divulge other details of this film and said that he would only do that after the film’s casting was completed.
Many other celebrities also participated in the muhurat event, including producer KL Damodar Prasad, actor Prasanna Kumar, director Relangi Narasimha Rao, director Satish Verma and others.
