Dharmendra’s family is gearing up for yet another joyous occasion following the wedding of Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol. According to reports, Nikita Chaudhary, Dharmendra’s granddaughter, is set to tie the knot later this month in Udaipur. The wedding preparations are in full swing, with the ceremony expected to be attended by the entire Deol family and numerous prominent NRIs.
Nikita Chaudhary, currently a dentist residing in the United States of America, is the daughter of Dr. Kiran Chaudhary and Ajeeta Deol. Ajeeta, affectionately known as Dolly, is Dharmendra’s youngest daughter from his first marriage to Prakash Kaur. Ajeeta, a psychology teacher in the USA, is married to Indian-American dentist Kiran Chaudhary. The couple resides in California and keeps a low profile, away from the limelight. They have two daughters, Nikita and Priyanka Chaudhary.
The forthcoming wedding adds another chapter to Dharmendra’s family history. Dharmendra married Prakash Kaur in 1954 in an arranged marriage at the age of 19. While Prakash took care of the family and their children, Dharmendra achieved stardom in Mumbai during the 1960s. His love for Hema Malini led to a second marriage in 1980, causing a rift with Prakash. Despite the challenges, Dharmendra did not divorce Prakash.
Dharmendra shares four children with Prakash – Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajeeta, and Vijeta Deol. From his marriage with Hema Malini, he has two daughters – Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. Sunny and Bobby Deol have achieved success in Bollywood, while Esha has also starred in hit films. Ahana, however, ventured into just one film, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, before finding her passion in Indian classical dance. Her Odissi dance performances have garnered critical acclaim for their grace, poise, and emotional depth, establishing Ahana as a prominent Odissi dancer today.
