Following the success of her solo hit APT with Bruno Mars last year, Rose is back with a brand new single, Messy. The track is part of the soundtrack for the upcoming racing drama F1, starring Brad Pitt. In the stylish music video, the South Korean artist is seen strolling through the streets of Las Vegas and enjoying the view from a high-rise, while romantic scenes between Brad Pitt and Kerry Condon’s characters play in the background. Messy is just one of many exciting songs featured on the film’s album, which also includes contributions from Ed Sheeran, Tate McRae, RAYE, Burna Boy, Tiësto, Madison Beer, and Peggy Gou, among others.

This latest single marks the BLACKPINK singer’s first release since her solo debut album, Rosie, was released in December. The K-pop star is now preparing to reunite with her girl group for the first time since their Born Pink tour wrapped up in 2023. Recently, fans were thrilled to see her join Lisa and Jennie at the 2025 Met Gala.

Announcing the latest song from the F1 movie on Instagram, Rose wrote, “MESSY is out now. So this is my first time working on a movie soundtrack, and I am so extremely honoured and excited beyond imagination to be a part of this incredible movie. I hope you all love it, live it, dream it until F1 comes out JUNE 27 and just one thing, don’t get too Messy out there folks.”

Along with Rose’ Messy, the F1 album also features numerous songs by popular artists. Don Toliver teams up with Doja Cat for Lose My Mind, while Dom Dolla sang No Room for A Saint. Ed Sheeran contributes Drive, and Tate McRae offers Just Keep Watching. Burna Boy’s Don’t Let Me Drown and Roddy Ricch’s Underdog are also part of the lineup. RAYE sings Grandma Calls The Boy Bad News and Bad As I Used To Be’s Chris Stapleton. Other tracks include Myke Towers’ Baja California, Tiesto and Sexyy Red’s OMG, Madison Beer’s All At Once, Peggy Gou’s DANCE, PAWSA’s DOUBLE C, Mr Eazi’s Attention, Darkoo’s Give Me Love and Obongjayar’s Gasoline.

Other than Brad Pitt and Kerry Condon, F1 also stars Damson Idris, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia and Javier Bardem. The Joseph Kosinski-directed directorial is scheduled to release on June 27.
