Abhishek got on Karan’s nerves.
Karan Johar and Abhishek Kumar got into an ugly fight during the latest episode of Bigg Boss 17.
Bigg Boss 17 is one of the most popular reality shows and every week, Salman Khan makes an appearance to give a reality check to contestants. However, this weekend was a little different as Karan Johar hosted the Weekend Ka Vaar episode this week instead. The filmmaker and former Bigg Boss OTT host got into a spat with Abhishek Kumar on the show.
After the discussion regarding Vicky and Ankita, the actor lost his cool and started screaming and shouting in the house. He wanted his fight with Sunny and Arun to be discussed. He even took his mic off, thereby breaking an important house rule. Karan told him, “Aapne iss ghar main har baar line cross ki hai… Jiss tarah aapki reaction thi yeh normal reaction nahi hai (You have always crossed the line in this house… Your reaction was not normal).”
Karan was heard saying, “Aapne kya kya tamasha kiya maine sab dekha. Yeh bawaal machane ki kya zaroorat thi? Kitni fights Abhishek ne instigate ki hain? Jab jab aapne fights instigate ki hain tab kya doosra insaan roya hai? (I saw the drama you did. What was the need to create this chaos? How many fights has Abhishek instigated? Have the others cried?)”
Abhishek said that while he has instigated fights, he has never gotten physical. As for his breakdown, Abhishek said that he gets attacks when he feels he is wronged. Karan then tried to explain to Abhishek that it was Isha and Arun’s fight initially and Abhishek also instigated Arun by bringing up his family. Abhishek said that if Karan wants to prove him wrong, then they should not discuss this matter.
Abhishek couldn’t properly understand what Karan was trying to say and said, “Arre sir aap kahaan le ke ja rahe ho baat? (Sir, where are you taking this?)” An angry Karan replied, “Main kahaan le ja raha hoon baat? Main apna kaam jaanta hoon. Aapka kya adhikar hai ki aap mujhe bataoge ki main kab baat karoon aur main kab chup ho jaun? (Where am I taking this? I know my job. Who gave you the right to tell me when to speak and when to shut up?)”
This happened after Abhishek lost his cool when Karan did not immediately address his fight with Sunny and Arun. He started screaming, “Kal se related baat honi chahiye” over and over. The rest of the housemates got scared for him and asked him to calm down. Karan said that Abhishek’s breakdown was a form of “self-harm” as was banging tables and throwing items around.
