Ampere Xpress B2B electric scooter revealed at Auto Expo 2025 -DellyRanks

Greaves Electric Mobility showed a range of new products at the Auto Expo 2025 targeting different market segments. These include the Ampere Xpress B2B e-scooter and the Ampere Xyber (which previews an electric bike). Alongside these new concepts, the brand also showcased 2 new variants of its existing offering, the Nexus S and the Nexus Executive.

  1. Ampere Xpress is based on the NXU concept unveiled in 2023
  2. Xyber will be the brand’s first e-bike, is a very early stages concept
  3. Nexus scooter gets two new variants with more power, features

Ampere Xpress concept previews future B2B scooter

At the 2023 edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, Ampere had showcased two concepts, the NXU and NXG. The NXU concept was inherently a more utilitarian concept, targeted towards the B2B and e-commerce segments. The concept had a payload capacity of 200kg but the close to production-ready Xpress has an even higher 230kg. For reference, even something like a Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has a 198kg payload.

It also uses the same alloy 12-inch wheels as the Nexus but they are shod with different tyres. Even the design of the Xpress’ swingarm-mounted motor is the same as the Nexus, although it has a lower 60kph top speed, compared to the Nexus’ 90kph. Where the Xpress differs from the Nexus is that its battery pack is removable. Ampere says that when the Xpress will go on sale, it will come with a 5 year/75,000km warranty.

Xyber concept previews Ampere’s first electric bike

Alongside the nearly production ready Xpress, Ampere also showed us a new electric bike concept, called the Xyber. This is a very early prototype and the production version of the Xyber seems to be quite some time away. The Xyber concept is equipped with a LFP battery, offering a range of ‘ up to 200 km on a full charge’. Ampere also claims that the Xyber concept has both AC and DC fast-charging capabilities, similar to the Raptee T30.

While Ampere has revealed the Xyber’s range figures, it hasn’t disclosed its battery capacity. The concept has a 10 kW electric motor, with a claimed top speed of 100kph. In typical streetfighter fashion it runs on 17-inch alloy wheels, shod with road-biased tyres and has an angular, sharp design. The Xyber gets disc brakes at both ends along with ABS, although the company doesn’t specify whether it’s a single-channel or dual-channel system.

Ampere Nexus gets 2 two new variants

Alongside these new concepts, Ampere also showcased two new variants of the Nexus – the Exec and the S Turismo. Both these variants get a more powerful 5kW motor but at 93kph, they have the exact same claimed top speed as the standard Nexus.

The Exec gets a stealthy matte black finish with a contrasting brown seat, while the S Turismo gets a fashy red and black dual-tone paint scheme. Where the base Nexus takes 4 hours for a full charge, these two variants take a slightly lower 3.5hrs.
