At the 67th Grammy Awards, Alicia Keys wore a black Dolce and Gabbana dress that came with a gold corset-like detail at the waist.
The 2025 Grammy Awards kickstarted at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 3 (IST). At the prestigious music event, Alicia Keys scripted history as she became one of the most awarded Black women. She won her 17th Grammy and this win makes her the third most awarded Black woman after Beyonce and Aretha Franklin.
For her appearance on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards, Alicia Keys opted for a black ensemble that was a perfect blend of modernity and tradition. She opted for a black dress from Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda collection which was featured on the runway last summer. The sleeveless dress was simple but it was sculpted well with accentuated shoulders.
Take a look at Alicia’s OOTD here.
The black dress came with a golden detail at the bodice. The gold corset-like bodice began under the best and it featured intricate details. It ended right above her hips. At the Alta Moda show, the brand said, “Each creation pays homage to Sardinia’s deep historical roots, a land rich in symbols and profound meanings that transports observers on a journey through tradition and modernity.”
Alicia matched her accessories with this gold bodice. Her accessories were the star of her look. She paired the dress with statement gold earrings which featured intricate artisanal work not only in gold but various jewels as well. She finished her look with a sleek headband and tied her hair up in a neat bun.
The singer won the Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album from her Broadway musical Hell’s Kitchen. She also won the Global Impact Award. In her acceptance speech, she said, “This is not the time to shut down a diversity of voices. We’ve seen on this stage talented, hard-working people from different backgrounds with different points of view, and it changes the game. DEI is not a threat — it’s a gift.”
The 67th Grammy Awards was hosted by Trevor Noah. The event saw celebrities like Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Beyonce, Charli XCX, John Legend, Beyonce, Shakira, and Gracie Abrams gracing the event with their presence.
